Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop

Calling all lovers of plants and beautiful home décor! This macramé plant hanger-making workshop is one for you. Join artist and macramé maker Aggy from Knots and Stalks for a creative morning and make your own plant hanger to take home.

You can expect:

  • Guidance on how to create macramé knots
  • Tips and inspiration for designs
  • All materials to be provided, including a selection of colourful recycled cotton cords
  • A handy guide to take away with you, so you can practise at home

 

 

Tickets

If you are a member, please log in with your member ID or email on the ticket page to see member tickets for this event. If you are not a member, please note you will need to purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens as well as an event ticket.

 

 

Things you need to know

The workshop begins at 10.30am and ends at 1.30pm.
Plants are not included in the workshop.

If you are not a member, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens.

On arrival, please check in with the Ticket Office who will give you more information about your visit and direct you to the workshop location, which is in the Stables. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the start time to check in and make your way to the location, which is a 5-minute walk from the Ticket Office.

For those who are visiting the Gardens or the Museum and Exhibition (entry depends on the ticket type you have purchased), you are welcome to come at any time during our opening hours on the day. The American Museum & Gardens’ site is open from 10am–5pm, however please note that areas open and close at different times within this:

  • Exhibition, Gardens, Gift Shop, and Car Park: 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
  • American Garden Deli: 10am–4.30pm (last orders at 4.20pm)
  • Museum: 11am–4pm (last entry 3pm)

Parking is free. If the main car park is full, please follow our signs to the additional parking, just a short distance up Claverton Hill from the main car park.
