Kids’ Play in a Day Theatre Workshop

Join The Last Baguette theatre company for an exciting, dynamic and fun theatre workshop all about American innovators! Kids between 6-11 years old can create their own scenes and stories, learn about important American innovations, and perform the play they co-create in front of an invited audience at the end of the day.

Drop-off for the workshop is at 9.30am and the workshop will finish at 3.30pm, when you are invited to watch the children’s performance in the Stables.

Tickets

If you are a member, please log in with your member ID or email on the ticket page to see member tickets for this event.

When purchasing a ticket for a child, garden entry for one adult is included. If you wish to bring more people to watch the performance and you are not a member of the Museum, please book additional garden admission. This can be booked online, or at the Ticket Office on the day.

After you have booked an event ticket, we will contact you by email or phone to ask for details of the participants as well as emergency contacts.

Please note that refunds are not given unless the event is cancelled.

Things you need to know

One adult garden entry is included in a kid’s workshop ticket, for the day and to enjoy the performance. If you are not a member and wish to bring along more people, please purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens. You can also upgrade your garden ticket to a full-site ticket at the Ticket Office.

On arrival, check in with the Ticket Office who will give you more information about your visit and direct you to the workshop location, which is in the Coach House. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the start time to check in and make your way to the location, which is a 5-minute walk from the Ticket Office.

Drop-off is at 9.30am at the Ticket Office. The workshop itself will last until 3pm, with the play performance at 3.30pm.

For those who are visiting the Gardens or the Museum and Exhibition (entry depends on the ticket type you have purchased), you are welcome to come at any time during our opening hours on the day. The American Museum & Gardens’ site is open from 10am–5pm, however please note that areas open and close at different times within this:

• Exhibition, Gardens, Gift Shop, and Car Park: 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)
• American Garden Deli: 10am–4.30pm (last orders at 4.20pm)
• Museum: 11am–4pm (last entry 3pm)

Parking is free. If the main car park is full, there is another carpark just a short distance up Claverton Hill from the main car park.
