An afternoon of the best local jazz in the Stables with light refreshments. The Jazz At The Museum series is sponsored by All Instruments Westbury – your local family music store.

If you are a member, please log in with your member ID or email on the ticket page to see member tickets for these events. If you are not a member, please note you will need to purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens as well as an event ticket.

The John Martin Quartet presents Reconstruct. Saxophonist John Martin, ‘a distinctive voice and an explorer of restless promise’ (The Guardian), has reconstructed well-known tunes from jazz and beyond. Exploration of the familiar will be the theme – come along for this journey into the known and the unknown!

Things you need to know

The concert begins at 2.30pm and will end at 4.30pm. 

On arrival, please check in with the Ticket Office who will give you more information about your visit and direct you to the concert location, which is in the Stables. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the start time to check in and make your way to the location, which is a 5-minute walk from the Ticket Office. 

If you are not a member, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens. 

For those who are visiting the Gardens or the Museum and Exhibition (entry depends on the ticket type you have purchased), you are welcome to come at any time during our opening hours on the day. The American Museum & Gardens’ site is open from 10am–5pm, however please note that areas open and close at different times within this: 

  • Exhibition, Gardens, Gift Shop, and Car Park: 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm) 
  • American Garden Deli: 10am–4.30pm (last orders at 4.20pm) 
  • Museum: 11am–4pm (last entry 3pm) 

Parking is free. If the main car park is full, please follow our signs to the additional parking, just a short distance up Claverton Hill from the main car park. 

Drinks and small snacks, supplied by the American Garden Deli, will be available to purchase in the Stables from 2–4.15pm. 

We are a non-smoking site. We politely ask that only alcohol that is purchased at the event is consumed in line with our onsite license requirements.
