Join us for the Rare Plant Fair on Sunday 19 May, from 10am–5pm. The museum's overflow car park will be open and there is also pay-and-display parking at the University of Bath's East Car Park, which is a 15-minute walk.

Easter Eggcitement

29 March – 14 April

 

  • Easter trail – hunt for our creative and colourful egg installations throughout the daffodil-filled gardens and answer the simple quiz question at each egg station to complete the fun trail with a chocolate treat at the end. The trail is £3.50 in addition to admission.

 

  • Enjoy creative Easter activities at our crafting station and take part in an egg roll race on the terrace lawn every day.

 

 

  • Explore a family trail through the manor house museum of American decorative arts and heritage.

 

  • Visit the American Garden Deli for a delicious lunch or Easter snack and relax on the sunny terrace with valley views. The Deli will be offering a select menu on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

 

  • Enjoy climb-and-slide time at the Children’s Garden play area.

Face painting
29 March – 1 April

Enhance your day out with a fun face paint design created by our artist. Face painting is taking place between 10.30am – 12.30pm, and 1.30 – 3.30pm, and costs £3 for half a face and £6 for a full face design.

 

 

Family photoshoot
30 March

Capture treasured images with a free family photoshoot with Helena M Photography. You will receive a gallery of photos in mid-April which you can purchase for £15 each or £75 for the full set. Book your timeslot here.
