Allium Month

JUNE – JULY

June is a special time at the American Museum & Gardens, when the gardens are flooded with a succession of alliums – those beautiful spherical blooms loved by bees and visitors alike – with hundreds flowering into July in front of breath-taking valley views.

Why not take a mindful meander around the gardens and head into our parkland for a longer walk, before having some treats in the American Garden Deli?

Our allium collection includes:
Allium cowanii, Allium hollandicum ‘Purple Sensation’, Allium ‘Lucy Ball’, Allium atropurpureum, Allium obliquum, Allium ‘Silver Spring’, Allium christophii, Allium schubertii, Allium amethystinum ‘Red Mohican’, Allium ‘Summer Drummer’, Allium chinense, Allium sphaerocephalon and Allium thunbergii.
