Your unique venue

The American Museum & Gardens is a unique heritage wedding venue, situated on a 125-acre estate within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our wedding venues include a choice of Grade-II listed buildings, seating 50 and 110 guests respectively, a verdant amphitheatre, a secluded garden, an intimate sitting room and a stunning expanse of lawn. The nature of our site allows you to mix and match event spaces to create your perfect day and allow you to soak up the big-sky vistas and stunning views across the Limpley Stoke Valley.

 

We operate on a dry-hire basis, offering you scope and flexibility to tailor your wedding day to match your personal taste and reflect your own love story. We have a curated list of recommended caterers, florists and photographers, all of whom understand our venue, but you are more than welcome to work with suppliers of your own choosing. We aim to place no limitations on your freedom and encourage you to be as creative as possible in organising your big day. Because your big day should be all about you!
