17 September 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us in our Stables for an afternoon performance featuring the best in local jazz, sponsored by allinstruments.com – your family music store!
Andy Hague Quartet
“contrasts catchy themes with Kenny Wheeler-esque harmonies to create witty music that’s obvious and subtle at the same time.”
Andy Hague, trumpeter, drummer, bandleader, composer, arranger and educator, is one of the gems of the South West. Having run Bristol’s jazz club the Be-Bop now for 30 years, Andy is fast becoming something of a jazz legend ’round these parts! Catch him at this gig in light-hearted mode, presenting a few of his original tunes, as well as some standard jazz fare…well known as well as not so well known!
Andy Hague – Trumpet
John Law – Piano
Henrik Jensen – Bass
Ryan Thrupp – Drums
