Join us in our spectacular gardens for a summer’s evening of music and American-inspired food and drink. Soak up the stunning views across the Limpley Stoke valley while you enjoy the music and choose from an array of light supper and refreshing drinks options at the all-new American Garden Deli.
Iain Ballamy Trio
ECM recording artist Iain Ballamy is internationally recognised as a saxophonist and composer. He has been described variously as urbane, original, melodic, freethinking and uncompromising.
Iain will be joined by Rebecca Nash on keys and Nick Pini on double bass. Rebecca is firmly established as one of the brightest jazz talents in the UK and is now garnering an international reputation for her distinctive sound, full of artistry and heart. Nick has been working with some of the world’s most well known artists as a session musician and a touring band member (Laura Marling, Ethan Johns, Nick Mulvey, Tom Jones, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Seth Lakeman, Ramin Karimloo) whilst keeping a keen hand in the UK’s rich and diverse jazz scene.
The trio will be performing a handful of their favourite jazz standards for this performance at the American Museum with one or two Brazilian numbers thrown in for good measure!
