All-American Summer Party

FreeJoin us for a fun day out celebrating American Independence Day with a backdrop of stunning views across the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and our award-winning gardens. Enjoy an exciting range of live music, with country line dancing by Blazing Saddles, world-class, 5-string banjo trio Leon Hunt, Latino music from Los Musicos, and more. We will have a KidzFun zone, classic American cars on display and delicious American food and drink options. Visitors can explore the Museum’s collections in the Manor House and it will also be the final chance to see our popular America in Crisis exhibition from the Saatchi Gallery.
Things you need to know:
Access to the grounds from 10am when doors open, music will start from 11am. The event will end 5:45pm and all visitors must exit by 6pm. Please note that the Manor House will only be open from 11am-4pm and the special exhibition gallery from 10am-5pm.
Members come for free and do not need to pre-book a ticket, non-members need to purchase a museum and gardens or gardens only ticket available via Eventbrite.
We have free onsite parking which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking is available with pay and display at the University of Bath which is a 15-minute walk from the museum. The museum is also accessible from the centre of Bath via First Bus. Please note that we are a non-smoking site. We politely ask that only alcohol that is purchased at the event is consumed onsite, in line with our licensing requirements.
Ticket options:
Visitors can select a gardens only ticket which provides access to the events on the day, our award-winning gardens, the American Garden Deli and the gift shop. Alternatively, a full museum and exhibition ticket includes all of that plus access to the Museum Collection located in the Grade I listed Manor House as well as our popular America in Crisis special exhibition on loan from the Saatchi Gallery.
Please note that the last admission to the Museum Collection in the Manor House is at 3pm. Ticket holders who have purchased Museum and exhibition tickets may need to choose a timeslot to visit the Manor House when checking in onsite.
All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.

**If you have selected a discount on your tickets or are a member, please ensure you bring the relevant discount card, voucher, ID or membership card with you to present on arrival. B&NES Discovery Card holders should also bring a current Council Tax bill, utilities bill or bank statement as proof of address if your card has expired and you have been unable to renew it. Unfortunately, photocard driving licenses cannot be used as proof of residence as they are not always updated if a person moves outside the area.
