Update:

We look forward to welcoming you to the Selvedge Makers' Fair on Saturday 21 September. This will be a busy day, so please do plan ahead and consider using public transport if possible. Our main car park and overflow car park will be open, however please note that visitors to the museum and fair are unable to use Bath University’s pay and display parking on this day.

Plant a tree

Legacy trees

Celebrate an important moment or commemorate the life of a loved one by planting an oak tree this autumn or winter. Your tree, the memories it holds and the wildlife it will sustain, is a gift for nature, which will enable our historic parkland and woodland to flourish into the future.

Our tree planting plan focuses on restocking our parkland. Gifting an oak tree will help regenerate the parkland with native trees and help the museum offset its carbon footprint.

To ensure the best chance of healthy growth, trees can be planted from October through to March.

£495 donation includes:

  • Cost of oak tree (approximately 8-10 feet tall and not a sapling):
  • Protective fencing
  • Plaque & engraving
  • A personalised certificate
