Come along for our monthly sessions for pre-schoolers and their parents/carers. We will be singing songs, telling stories, sharing rhymes and making something together, while learning all about the ‘Brilliant Beasties’, our very lovely animal friends.
Each session will be led by Sally Warhurst who has many years of experience working with early years and is passionate about encouraging children to explore their creativity, while building their confidence to join in with simple songs and storytelling with actions and props.
Please book a ticket for participating children. Adults go free to this event. Please note, if you are not a member, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to the American Museum & Gardens.
Tickets for 2025 sessions are coming soon.
Activities are aimed at ages 5 years and under but we encourage family members, parents and carers to join in.
Sessions are programmed once a month on a Tuesday from 10.30–11.30am, but please arrive from 10.15 to say hello and get comfy. You will need to book each session separately, so please check dates carefully.
Each session will be located in the Stables and Coach House at the American Museum & Gardens. As we are needing to direct pushchairs around the garden please allow 5 mins extra time to walk down to us.
Tickets to Brilliant Beasties are £4 per child. Accompanying parents, carers and family members will need to purchase normal admission tickets upon arrival on the day. For admission prices, please see here.
Children under 5 years of age and members of the American Museum gain free admission to the Museum, Gardens, Café and Gift Shop as normal, but will need to purchase a ticket to the Brilliant Beasties event at £4 per child.
Numbers are limited to 15 children and accompanying adult per session.
Our Coach House has a baby change area and disabled toilet.
All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser. If we need to cancel for any reason, we’ll be in touch.
