Do you live in the USA and would like to become a Friend of the Museum? There are many benefits to enjoy, from free entry and a special quarterly newsletter to exclusive member events and communities. We have a special Quilt Friend membership for quilt enthusiasts, where content and activities are tailored to the spectacular quilts and textiles in the collection. ROAM
Friends at the Joint/Family level and above for both our US Friends and US Quilt Friends are enrolled in the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM), which gives complimentary admission to more than 550 museums across the US. Upon presentation of a valid membership card while visiting one of the museums listed, you are entitled to the following privileges:
Free admission during regular museum hours
A discount on purchases in the art and bookshops at participating museums
Ticketed exhibitions and special events are not included and may carry an admission fee
US Friends
The US Friends of the American Museum & Gardens aim to raise awareness of the Museum’s work, further cross-cultural exchange between the UK and the USA, and play a key role in providing essential financial support
