The only museum of its kind outside the USA
The American Museum & Gardens was founded to challenge stereotypes of American culture. By showcasing different perspectives and how cultures influence one another, we aim to entertain, inform and inspire.
Visitors to the museum will find unique American collections in the manor house, as well as special temporary shows in the exhibition gallery, with lots for all ages to enjoy.

A treasure trove of over 12,000 objects, all with a unique story to tell, featuring a patchwork paradise of American quilts, decorative art, furniture design, historical maps and much more
