In partnership with Bath Children’s Literature Festival, it’s FREE entry to the whole site at the American Museum & Gardens, with storytelling and creative activities by Alice Tait, author and illustrator of No, Nancy, No! A Dog Chase in New York. Your day also includes free entry to the new, child-friendly exhibition, Unforgettable Behaviour, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year show created in partnership with the Natural History Museum.
Other activities on the day include playtime in the gallery, games and colouring, a reading corner, and plenty of space in our gardens and woodland for running and exploring, including a children’s play area. All free on the day!

The Museum’s overflow car park will be open and there is also pay and display parking at the University of Bath’s East Car Park (15-mins walk).

The American Garden Deli will be offering a select menu on this day and you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the Gardens and Deli.
