Independence Day Fair and BBQ
July 1, 2017 10:30 am - 5:00 pm
Roll up, roll up, for the American Museum’s Independence Day Fair!
Come and celebrate Independence Day at the only museum of Americana outside the United States.
The Independence Day Fair and BBQ on Saturday 1 July from 10.30am – 5.00pm offers fun, games and entertainment for the whole family. Also, for the first time, the Museum will be open from 10.30am-5.00pm
Expect outdoor fun for all the family: American football, cheerleading, classic fairground games, bouncy castle, under 5 inflatable play zone, craft activities, lip-smacking food from Spitfire BBQ, and live music from The Frukes and an Elvis tribute act.
For the second year running, the American Museum will host a baking competition at this year’s Independence Day Fair. The theme of the competition, of course, is ‘America’. This year the winners will have their entry recreated and featured on the menu in the American Museum’s Café for one month.
