Fund our Future: Leave a legacy to the Museum
One of the best ways you can ensure that the Museum can continue its work with children, and others, now and in future, is to leave a legacy in your Will. (Or, if you have a Will, please consider adding a Codicil to it in favour of our charity. A Codicil is a document that you can use to change, or add to, an existing Will.)
Your legacy can keep our doors open, our gardens tended, and our learning programme stimulating.
You can gain further information about creating your Will or changing an existing Will with a Codicil with this brief guide (PDF). Further information about writing your Will or adding a Codicil can also be found on the Remember a Will website.
Alternatively, if you have already included the Museum in your Will or created a Codicil to do so, we would be happy to hear from you. Download our pledge form (PDF). By notifying us of your intentions, we are able to thank you personally. We can also welcome you to The 1820 Club, which commemorates the year our Manor House was completed; it is open to all who leave legacies to the Museum. As a Club member, you can enjoy a free annual event with the Director and hear about our current and future plans. Find out more about the Club.
If you are considering leaving a legacy in your Will to the Museum, and require further information, please contact the Director, Dr Richard Wendorf, in confidence: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that the information in this website is not intended as legal advice. It is recommended that you consult a solicitor when making your Will or creating a Codicil.
